In the Community

TriStar Pension Consulting is committed to making a difference in our community. We encourage each team member to become actively involved in volunteering and give their time to charity organizations they are passionate about. It is our belief that we should return to our community a portion of the riches it provides to us. We invest time and other resources into several charities throughout the year. Our favorite non-profit organizations to work with are Make A Wish Foundation, Infant Crisis Services, Suited for Success, and Cleats for Kids.

Infant Crisis Services

Each year starting in October, we collect clothing, diapers, and formula for the Infant Crisis Services Bedlam for Babies drive. This fundraiser benefits many Oklahoma babies and families in need. This year, TriStar gathered 6,463 pounds of baby items! We invite you to bring your donations to our offices through November 30th, or we can pick items up.

Make-A-Wish Oklahoma – A Bag Full of Wishes

Make-A-Wish Oklahoma hosts a purse auction and luncheon each year to fund the heartfelt wishes of Oklahoma children who are suffering from life-threatening medical conditions. This year’s luncheon raised over $100,000 for granting wishes! We call on friends, family, and local business owners to donate new or gently loved bags and accessories to this worthy cause. All proceeds from the auction go directly to granting wishes for Oklahoma wish kids! If you’d like to donate an item to this year’s luncheon, please contact us at 405-848-9015 at

Purple!, an annual event supporting Suited for Success, helps to raise funds needed to provide professional clothing at no cost to low-income women in the Oklahoma City community.

Cleats for kids gives sports shoes and gear of all types and sizes to young, underserved Oklahoma athletes free of charge. TriStar participates as a sponsor in several of their events including the Varsity Board’s Summer Kickoff, The Help Kids Play Benefit and the Patio Party.

Jill and Becca, Make-A-Wish Development Team

Dear Shannon and Laina,
Thank you so much for being in our Wish luncheon committee! This has been one of our most successful years and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for supporting Make-A-Wish and helping us spread hope, strength, and joy to Oklahoma Kids!

Susan Walton, Executive Director of Suited for Success

Dear Shannon and Allyson,
On behalf of Suited for Success, I want to thank you for supporting Purple!, a high-fashion runway event.  Your company’s generous sponsorship is essential to our mission.  It was a pleasure working with you again this year.

Elizabeth DiCenso, Volunteer Coordinator

Thank you so much for organizing the wonderful group that came out today. They matched shoes, labeled books, hung coats and packaged over 9,080 diapers! That is a lot of dry bottoms! We appreciate the gifts of time and service!

We are always looking for new opportunities to become involved.  If you have a suggestion, then please don’t hesitate to notify us.
